Responsibilities: The Manager - Internal Audit will report to the Vice President – Internal Audit. The Manager will work with senior management to document risks and controls related to company operations, systems, and financial reporting in order to develop and execute an annual risk-based audit plan. This person will perform risk assessment and develop audit plans of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and loan servicing activities. This person will work independently to execute audit tests of controls and substantive testing procedures, including Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance tests. The Manager will document analysis, evaluate results, and summarize key findings while reporting conclusions, recommendations and remediation status to senior management. The Manager - Internal Audit will supervise staff on select assignments.
Requirements: Our client seeks a very qualified Internal Audit professional with at least seven years of public accounting or internal auditing experience in financial services. Candidates should have a knowledge of COSO, IIA standards. The candidate should have an MBA or MS and be CPA, CIA, CIDA, or CFA certified. Candidates should be self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills, have excellent problem solving and analytic skills, be capable of working in a dynamic, fluid environment with rotating priorities, and have solid communication skills.
Compensation: $125,000+ base salary, plus bonus and stock options.
