Description: A World Class manufacturer of Power Systems is seeking a Test Engineer to develop and implement the appropriate tests to ensure compliance with contract test specifications and generally accepted standards and to provide support to research efforts while ensuring protection of the test environment, including physical facility and staff. Under general guidance of supervisors or more experienced engineers, perform various engineering duties requiring the exercise of sound judgment and application of standard engineering principles and practices. Pursue initiatives to improve effectiveness and increase customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
· Perform various engineering tasks involving such functions as analysis, design, development, test, installation, and service while working from instructions, drawings, proposals, specifications, and other pertinent information.
· Prepare specifications and related documents in accordance with requirements, establishing formats and general instructions. Review and analyze a variety if engineering information, documentations, and reports.
· Consult with other engineering groups to ensure that engineering criteria are suitable for the proposed application, and recommend revisions as appropriate.
· Plan, conduct, or coordinate engineering analyses and tests; prepare related reports and summaries for review.
· Participate in the investigation of technical problems and the establishment of procedures and corrective actions to avoid recurrence.

Requirements:
· Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field.
· 5 years of related experience and demonstrated accomplishments.
· Position requires good communications, problem solving skills and a thorough understanding of standard engineering theories, concepts, principles, and techniques
· Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder and have a legal driver’s license. The client will NOT sponsor or transfer an existing H1-B visa, however, Canadian candidates will be considered.

Compensation: $50K to $57K, depending upon experience.
