Description: A world leader in the design and manufacturing of magnetostrictive linear-position and liquid-level sensors, serving a variety of markets and applications, is seeking a Technical Supervisor for their NC manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities: Primary duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate typically include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Adjust manufacturing capacity to meet customer demand for assigned product line.
· Maintain equipment, as necessary, to ensure functionality to support customer needs.
· Provide manufacturing instructions and operator training to ensure consistent product quality. Audit assembly methods and enforce adherence to established manufacturing standards to ensure safe and ergonomic procedures.
· Identify root cause failures by performing component level analysis on problematic products. Troubleshoot common issues with test equipment and initiate corrective actions to eliminate failure modes.
· Support manufacturing strategies on both existing and new products by developing equipment and processes to achieve improved quality, production costs and delivery.
· Provide manufacturing support for all vendors producing subcontracted parts.
· Participate in new product development teams and design reviews to ensure product manufacturability, and troubleshoot any product manufacturing issues.
· Apply division quality policy and ISO 9001 procedures to assigned area of responsibility, and follow all standard operating procedures as prescribed.

Requirements:
· 4-year degree in a technical discipline, preferably BSME, EE or IE, with 5 years experience in electromechanical manufacturing.
· OR, a 2-year technical education, preferably AS degree, with 9 years experience in electromechanical manufacturing.
· Demonstrated computer knowledge (spreadsheet & word processing programs).
· AutoCad or equivalent design tool skills, as well as some IT programming experience are definite pluses. · Experience with Navision Software
· Good analytical and problem solving skills are required, with an aptitude for building, troubleshooting and testing products from drawing and/or sketches.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed, coupled with the ability to train personnel in various manufacturing techniques.

Compensation: $55K to $65 base salary, with excellent benefits. Relocation assistance is also available.
