Description: A key player within the networking and information technology industry is seeking an IPT Engineer.

Responsibilities:
· Deliver Level 2 technical support to Uptime customers
· Day to Day support of customers’ Cisco IPT environment comprising Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity, Voice Gateways/Gatekeepers, IP phones/Conference stations and LAN/WAN infrastructure, escalate to Cisco TAC when necessary.
· Work assigned tickets to determine the point of failure and resolve problems remotely utilizing available tools and other Center resources. When an on-site solution is required, work with the call Owner to dispatch a part and / or Field Engineer.
· Work and escalate problems effectively in order to meet customer SLAs
the AP function in a manufacturing company
· Direct Field Engineers as required to resolve problems and / or confirm operation of network equipment.
· Maintain all assigned tickets with up to date information.
· Perform assigned network audits to confirm hardware, software and configuration detail and update Operations Center documentation.
· Work cooperatively in a team environment with Insite Operators, Service Request Owners and other Uptime GSC Engineers and accept assigned work in a professional manner.

Requirements:
· Minimum requirement of CCNA (or tantamount/advanced experience), prefer CCNP, CCVP with at least 2 years experience.
· CCNP Level Routing and Switching background is mandatory
· Advanced Troubleshooting experience Enterprise Cisco IPT Environments
· Experience with Cisco IPT Telephony
· Call Manager 3.x, 4.x, 5x and Unity 4.x
· Experience with Cisco MGCP/H.323/SIP Voice Gateways
· Experience with Local and Wide Area Network Technologies
· ISDN (PRI/BRI)
· PSTN/PBX integration
· Point to Point Circuits
· Familiarity with Carrier Escalation Procedures and troubleshooting
· Advanced troubleshooting of Enterprise Cisco IPT Environments
· Ability to perform configuration changes to IPT Environments
· Good team-working skills in an Operations Center environment
· Good telephone manner and customer communication skills
· Good process execution skills
· Ability to converse verbally and in writing with customers and employees
· Ability to work under stress, interruptions, conflicting needs and tight deadlines
· Ability to problem-solve and answer questions
· Ability to operate computers (MSOffice products), office equipment
· Ability to utilize company’s information system and phone system
