Description: Transformer Design Engineer with solid experience in designs and applications of Liquid Filled Distribution Transformers rated up to 7500kVA serving Utility and Industrial markets in the Electrical Equipment Industry. The successful candidate will be a Team Leader that controls each step of the product design and manufacturing from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:
· Reviewing customer specification requirements, propose alternatives to resolve any technical issues
· Creating designs according to specifications
· Evaluating electrical and mechanical design calculations and parameters with regard to complexity, reliability, and manufacturability
· Evaluating pricing and total cost including loss evaluations
· Ensure compliance with all Industry Standards
· Contribute to design reviews, cost reduction and quality improvement programs

Requirements:
· Must have B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering; Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
· Must have a minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in designing and applications of Distribution Transformers rated 7500kVA and below for Utility/Large Industrial applications
· Must be authorized to work in the US or have an existing, transferable H1-B Visa
· Excellent communication and problem solving skills required to provide technical support to manufacturing, marketing, and customers

Desired:
· Advanced degree

Compensation: $65,000 to $75,000 per year depending on experience
