Description: A key player within the Information Technology and Networking industry is seeking an Account Manager.

Responsibilities:
· Serve as primary sales representative who deals directly with outside customers on day-to-day business matters for Data Center Storage Solutions.
· Develop new sales opportunities within a specific territory.
· Send product/services information to customers upon request.
· Participate in prototyping activities, working with Engineering, Marketing and Sales executives to develop static and functional solutions prototypes to meet customer expectations.
· Be responsible for developing new professional services business within assigned territory. (Able to prospect and develop qualified opportunities, leading to closure of new business).
· Manage and grow more complex and/or larger accounts within the assigned territory.
· Be the problem solver and ability to identify and close new sales opportunities and customers.
· Be creative and flexible to resolve customer, manufacturer and issues to increase revenue.
· Must have the ability to develop a strong relationship with customers and manufacturer partners.
· Negotiation and Influence skills are a must.
· Direct sales experience. Infrastructure and Managed services knowledge is a must.
· Knowledge of and relationships with major alliance partners is required.
· Must be a Transactional Hunter.

Requirements:
· 4 to 7 years of outside Information Technology Sales Experience with minimum of 2 years of professional services sales experience in the Data Center Storage Solutions.
· Bachelors preferred but not required, minimum of 3-year industry experience required. Prior experience with HP, EMC, Sun, Cisco or Oracle a plus. Strong PC skills are required, particularly Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of the Georgia market a must.
